Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park
We will depart from Kampala early in the morning and drive westwards to Queen Elizabeth National Park. During the drive, you will enjoy the scenic views of the countryside along the way. Will have some stopovers. One of them is at the equator from you will take some photos and buy some souvenirs that you might need during the trip. We will have lunch en route. We will arrive at the park in the evening and check-in at your lodge or camp. Here you will relax, enjoy the facilities and later have dinner rest.
Day 2: Game drive, boat cruise and community activities
The next day you will wake up early and have breakfast. Later you will embark on a morning game drive in the park’s savannah plains. Look out for lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, giraffes, antelopes, hyenas, warthogs, and many more animals. After the drive, you will return to your lodge or camp for lunch. In the afternoon, you will head to the Kazinga Channel for a boat cruise. Here, you will enjoy the views of the lake and the river banks. You will also have a chance to watch the large concentration of water birds and mammals such as hippos, crocodiles, elephants and buffaloes.
After your exhilarating boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel—where you’ll witness a rich array of wildlife including hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, and a multitude of water birds—you’ll return to your accommodation for a hearty lunch and some relaxation.
As the sun begins to set, you have the option to embark on a community nature walk. Day 3: Chimpanzee tracking and transfer back to Kampala
You will wake up early and have breakfast. We will Drive to Kyambura Gorge for chimpanzee tracking. Here you will meet your ranger guide and get briefed on the rules and regulations of chimpanzee tracking. After the brief, you will enter the forest and follow the trails of the chimps. Once you find them, you will spend an hour observing them in their natural habitat, learn about their behavior and ecology. After the trek we will drive back to Kampala. We will have lunch en route. Arrive in Kampala in the evening and drop off at your hotel or airport
Safari Game Drives
You will Embark on thrilling game drives across the Kasenyi Plains and Mweya Peninsula, where you’ll encounter lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and the graceful Uganda kob in their natural habitats.
Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise
