Sipi Falls is a popular tourist destination located in the eastern part of Uganda. It is one of Uganda’s top tourist attractions and is known for its beautiful waterfalls and unique landscape.
The nature walk offers stunning views of the falls and the surrounding countryside. You can expect to see a variety of bird species along the way. The hike takes a few hours between 3 – 4 hours depending on the level of the hike and your fitness. The hike goes over steep slopes that reward hikers with great views at the clifftops. With steep hills, deep valleys, and long winding roads, Sipi offers an unforgettable adventure experience. The breathtaking landscape and rugged terrain will evoke a sense of adventure in Sipi. You’ll see many beautiful things and hear the beautiful sounds of birds as you go on the hike. You’ll pass by community farms and local people taking part in various activities. There are many farms and gardens in Sipi with different plants, some of which can only be found in high altitudes. You will also have a chance of hearing interesting stories of the rich culture and history about Sipi and its people.

Day 1: Journey to Sipi Falls

Our guided hike with the help of the local guide, will take you through verdant trails, where you’ll encounter three stunning waterfalls, each with its own unique charm. The hike offers exhilarating climbs and tranquil moments by the water’s edge. In the afternoon, you will have the chance to join a coffee tour, learning about the local methods of coffee production from bean to cup. As the day winds down, you will relax with a sunset view that paints the sky in vibrant hues.
Day 3: More Adventures in Sipi and Return
On your final day, delve deeper into Sipi’s beauty with a variety of activities we offer, from abseiling down the cliffs beside the roaring falls to a leisurely nature walk revealing the diverse flora and fauna. You will also visit a nearby village, engaging with the community and experiencing their warm hospitality. Later, we’ll drive you back in the late afternoon.

Sipi Falls is a year-round destination. However, the dry season (December – February) offers clearer skies and less chance of rain.
